Welcome to Life With Noa!

Hey there! I’m Noa Silver, the creator behind Life With Noa—a cozy corner of the internet dedicated to celebrating the everyday magic of home cooking. If you’re someone who loves discovering new recipes, swapping kitchen stories, or just believes that food is best when shared, you’re in the right place.

I started Life With Noa with a simple philosophy: recipes should be both inspiring and accessible. Great food doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether it’s the joy of a slow Sunday breakfast, the warmth of a home-cooked dinner, the sweetness of a family dessert, or the fun of party-ready appetizers, I believe every meal has the power to connect us and create memories.

Along my journey, I’ve been lucky to have my recipes featured in several major food magazines, win 2nd place at the Home Chef Challenge in 2023, collaborate with popular brands like Wholesome Kitchen, and be a guest on the “Cooking Together” podcast. These experiences have given me so much perspective—and taught me that it’s the little details and stories behind a dish that really make it special.

What I’ve learned over the years is that sharing food is about more than just taste. It’s about creating moments that linger long after the meal is done. I’m thrilled to welcome you into my kitchen and share what I’ve learned along the way.

How It All Started

My love for recipes began in my grandmother’s kitchen, perched on a wooden stool, watching her knead dough and sprinkle spices with a practiced hand. There’s a memory I always go back to: the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls wafting through the house on lazy weekend mornings. Those early moments taught me that cooking isn’t just a task—it’s an act of love.

As I grew older, my fascination with food only deepened. I started collecting recipe cards, experimenting with new flavors, and even hosting impromptu dinners for friends. What I love most is how recipes bring people together—sparking laughter, conversation, and sometimes, a little friendly competition.

Life With Noa was born out of my desire to capture these moments and share them with others. Documenting my recipes and stories became a way to connect with a wider community, inspire home cooks, and encourage everyone to find joy in their own kitchens.

Why You Can Trust Me

With over 12 years of hands-on experience in both home and professional kitchens, I’ve learned that there’s no substitute for passion and persistence. My background includes culinary training at Harvest Cooking School, leading recipe workshops, and developing signature dishes for local cafés.

I believe in testing every recipe multiple times—tweaking measurements, perfecting textures, and making sure instructions are clear for cooks of all levels. My process always begins with research and a spark of curiosity, followed by plenty of taste-testing and honest feedback from family and friends. If it isn’t delicious, it doesn’t make the cut.

As much as I love writing recipes, I’m equally passionate about food photography. Every image you see here is styled and shot by me, with a focus on real food and natural light. I want you to feel like you’re right there in the kitchen with me.

Outside of recipe development, you’ll find me hiking the local trails, hunting for vintage cookbooks, or curled up with a mug of chai and my sketchbook. I draw inspiration from my travels, late-night cravings, and the ever-changing seasons.

I’m committed to staying up-to-date on food trends, nutritional info, and creative techniques, so you can trust that what you see here is current and reliable. My promise is to always share recipes I truly love—tested, tasted, and served from my heart to yours.
